Bible Studies

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY WITH FATHER JUSTIN

Every Wednesday night, after our regular Wonderful Wednesday family night dinner, we hold an adult Bible Study taught by Fr. Justin.

This fall's 9-week bible study "Saint Paul the Apostle" will crank back up on "Wonderful Wednesdays" after family night supper, starting Sept. 10th. For those who can't come for the food, family and fellowship, but want to make the study, we'll start at 6:30PM and go until 7.  Nursery and grade school age activities will be available during that same hour.  Teens and college age are welcome.  Bring your Bible for reference. "Don't have one? You can purchase one in the parish bookstore."  "Too Busy to come? I'm so busy I can't afford not to spend time praying and studying the Word."

Returning Home - For Fallen Away Catholics

Do you know someone who - has been away from the Catholic Church?

- has been away from the Eucharist and the other Sacraments because of marriage issues?

- feels that it is time to return home to the practice of their faith but may not know how to return?

- was raised Catholic but does not come or seldom comes to Church anymore?

- left because someone hurt or angered them, or just drifted away?

Have you ever invited them to return or explore the possibility of returning?

There are many reasons people leave the Catholic Church and in an effort to reach out to those who have been away, St. Joseph is offering Catholics Returning Home. This outreach program hopes to identify and provide a safe place and opportunities for those who have been away from the Church to explore the issues, ideas, concerns, and experiences that they may have had.

If you know of someone who might benefit from this ministry, please contact the church office, 745-1631.
