There are several choirs at St. Joseph's that meet regularly throughout the year. Each choir is briefly explained below. If you are interested in singing with any of the choirs, call Ms. Nelda Chapman at 745-1631 ext. 120, or simply come to practice.
SATB Choir sings at the 9:30 a. m. Sunday mass. Wednesday rehearsals are from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the choir loft. This choir is open to singers 16 years and above.
Men's Schola sings for Solemn High Latin Mass on the first Sunday of each month at 2PM. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the choir loft.
Children’s/Youth Choir: Ages 6-16 (unchanged voices only). Rehearsals Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 PM in the Loft. Includes singing for 5:30 Wednesday Evening Prayer.
St. Cecilia Women's Ensemble: Open to women ages 16 and up with strong music reading ability.
Cantors: Open to singers ages 16 and up with strong music reading ability and availability to attend rehearsals and training.
