Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic Church
Jewel of the South
Fr. John Cuddy, beloved former pastor of St. Joseph's, passed away on Friday, January 20th. He will be remembered fondly by people from all walks of life: young and old, wealthy and poor, people of various races, religions and backgrounds. He was our pastor from 1974 to 2004 and we feel he gave such an important time and part of his life and ministry to the service of St. Joseph's and the Macon area. Funeral arrangements are

Please explore, visit, and experience for yourself why, on November 15, 1903, the Macon Telegraph wrote:
"If architecture may be fittingly described as frozen music, St. Joseph's Church, to be dedicated today, is a symphony."
Saint Joseph Catholic Church is a community of the people of God that hears and responds to the call of our Lord Jesus Christ to "love one another as I have loved you." Strengthened by the Sacraments, inspired by the word of God and united in Tradition, we live our faith and morals in our everyday lives. We identify, develop and utilize our time, talent, and treasure for the service of God and our neighbor.
